



Sexual Assault is any unwanted, forced, coerced, or manipulated sexual contact, touch, and/or penetration against one’s will. It includes any type of victimization of a sexual nature, from sexual harassment to rape.

Date/Acquaintance Rape – unwanted, coerced, and/or forced sexual penetration that occurs between people who know each other.
Alcohol/Drug Facilitated Sexual Assault – when alcohol or other drugs are used to subdue the victim in order to perpetrate a sexual attack.
Intimate Partner Sexual Violence – when a sexual assault occurs between two people who have had or have a consensual sexual relationship.
Sexual Harassment – unwanted verbal sexual advances, requests for sexual favors and other visual, verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature.
Incest – sexual abuse committed by one family member against another
Child Sexual Abuse – any sexual activity perpetrated against a child by threat, force, intimidation, or manipulation
